Topic: Fluid Controls

Please join us in this month’s discussion of specialized fluid control.

Presenter: Steve Krivan, Western Regional Sales Manager, Hays Fluid Controls

Steve Krivan, a graduate of the University of North Texas, joined the HVAC industry in 2009 working with Ingersoll Rand and the Trane Residential / Light Commercial Division at the Phoenix Dealer Sales Office. After working at Trane for 4 years, Steve joined Hays Fluid Controls, which is based in Phoenix Arizona, as a Western Region Manager. Steve’s background is extensive with over 20 years of Sales Management in the Consumer Products Industry with companies such as: GE, Carter Products, and Estee Lauder. Steve has also owned and operated a Food Brokerage and Import Business for 5 years.

Hays Fluid Controls has been an exclusive supplier of automatic flow control valves to the US Navy, controlling chilled water systems on submarines, surface vessels, and weapons systems for over 35 years.

Topic: Indoor Air Quality – Moisture & Contaminants: An Overview of Common Indoor Air Quality Complaints and Corrective Actions

Presenter: Kenton Beal, Executive Vice President / Owner, ENPRO Environmental, Environmental Consulting

Ken Beal is the Executive Vice President and Owner of ENPRO Environmental, an environmental consulting firm, which was established in 2001. Mr. Beal has an extensive background as he is a Certified Indoor Environmental Consultant, registered Professional Geologist, State Certified Asbestos Building Inspector and Management Planner, registered Environmental Assessor, and Past President of the Institute of Hazardous Materials Managers, Hawaii Chapter.

Some of the past facilities that ENPRO Environmental was involved includes: wood treatment facilities, petroleum refineries, underground storage tank (UST) sites, agricultural facilities, urban renewal projects, petroleum bulk storage terminals impacted with free floating petroleum hydrocarbons, dry cleaners, and a variety of commercial/industrial facilities.  ENPRO Environmental designs corrective measures for indoor air quality complaints.
