Mark your calendars, the 2015 Technical Seminar event is set! We have reserved the Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki for March, 13 2015. The seminar theme is Indoor Air Quality.
The quality of indoor air inside offices, schools, and other workplaces is important not only for workers' comfort but also for their health. Poor indoor air quality (IAQ) has been tied to symptoms like headaches, fatigue, trouble concentrating, and irritation of the eyes, nose, throat and lungs. Also, some specific diseases have been linked to specific air contaminants or indoor environments, like asthma with damp indoor environments. The four presenters will speak on the causes and effects of poor IAQ and methods to improve it.
The seminar will be from 8:00 am until 3:45 pm in the Haleakala/Kilauea Banquet room. A Continental Breakfast will be served in the morning. Lunch will be buffet style at the hotel’s Prince Court Buffet. The technical seminar will be followed by a cocktail reception in the Marina Front Lounge (Hawaii Prince 1st floor), which gives you the opportunity to mingle with the presenters, ASHRAE members, and guests.
We hope that all of you will come out to join us and support the ASHRAE technical seminar!
