Thursday, October 8th

Program: Technology Update - Chillers, Motors and Refrigerants

Evolution of motors continue with the advent of electric vehicles. Stationary motors benefit from this as a result we have many new opportunities to consider. Permanent magnet, reluctance and hybrid motors and their drives on the shelf.
Our concern for our environment has necessitated many changes for refrigerants. Today’s machinery has been designed to accommodate new refrigerants as well as the interest of energy efficiency while meeting code requirements. Many previously customized and costly features have become standard offering on chillers.
